Easter

Larkin was the first to wake up at 6:50 am. She and I ran around the house waking up the rest of the kids. Ethan didn't want to get out of bed, and Braden slept in (Notice he isn't in the first picture, and Logan was hiding behind the baby gate, upset that we woke him up too). Everyone found eggs and jelly beans hidden in the living room. Hedy, a nice Grandma lady from the salon, made them individual bags of chocolate candies for their baskets. It didn't take long before they had found everything. Easter fun was quick because we had to rush and get ready for 9:00 a.m. church. We had a healthy breakfast and didn't eat more than a piece of candy in the morning. I think mine were the only kids not on sugar highs at church. After church was the get together at Grandpa Porks house in Centerville. Everyone on Shad's mom's side of the family meets for the holidays. They do an egg hunt for the kids and a potluck dinner. Everyone had a great time. Ethan even chose to hide the eggs this year for the 8-12 year olds instead of finding them (his picture make me giggle-teenage attitude smirks in that smile of his). I am still trying to remember to take pictures of everything, but here are some of our moments from the day.
